The Perfect Place to Rest Your Head

Catered to the needs of your school group, our Mill Rythe accommodation options provide both modern and comfortable surroundings after a day of adventure.

JCA groups stay in comfortable chalets or rooms, all within easy reach of the main centre. Our Mill Rythe activity village provides a safe and secure site groups can feel comfortable staying at allowing children and teachers to focus on the exciting range of activities that await them.

Accommodation for students

The majority of our groups are accommodated in 1-2 bedroom heated chalets, which can sleep up to 5 people. Each chalet houses an en-suite shower or bath and is fitted with central heating and flat screen Freeview-enabled TVs. Rooms are maintained by a team of housekeepers ensuring rooms are clean and tidy with fresh linens and towels.

Please note, TV’s can be disconnected at the request of the Party Leader in all children and young people’s rooms.

Mill Rythe has a wide selection of accommodation blocks situated in the activity village. Taking in a variety of styles and brilliantly positioned close to activities, they include:

Ryde, Seaton & Solent – Please note, this accommodation is situated at the back of the site near the activity fields. The rooms can accommodate up to 4 children at a time. All of these accommodation areas have external walkways and are two-storey lodgings. This ensures all of the children within your group are in close proximity to each other.

Dover & Harrow – Please note, this accommodation is two-storey and has an internal hallway linking the rooms. This accommodation ensures students do not have access from their front door to the outside areas of the activity village. Party Leader rooms are situated at the end of each corridor near the exit doors. This accommodation is ideal for younger groups and groups who wish to ensure all children are located in one place.

Weston, Deal, Bath, Alton and Chard – The accommodation is situated at the front of the centre and has close access to the adventure playground, reception and restaurant. The accommodation is designed in chalet-style and can accommodate up to 4 children in each room.

Exeter Filey and Ripon – The accommodation is situated in the middle of the Mill Rythe activity village and has close access to the sports courts and restaurant. The accommodation is inspired by chalet-style lodgings and can accommodate up to 4 children in each room. Some of the rooms in this accommodation have internal doors to access adjoining rooms.

Kingstone and Pulborough – Ideal for smaller groups, this accommodation is situated in the middle of the centre and has close access to the JCA site office. The accommodation takes on a chalet style and accommodates up to 4 children in each room.

York & Wells – Suited to smaller groups, the accommodation is situated in the middle of the activity centre and has close access to the sports courts and restaurant. The accommodation is designed using a chalet style and can sleep up to 4 children in each room. Some of the rooms in this accommodation have internal doors to access connecting rooms.

Windsor, Nutley, Norfolk, Oxford and Otley – This accommodation is situated at the back of the centre and is in close proximity to the sports fields and courts. The accommodation is chalet style accommodation and can accommodate up to 4 children in each room.

We will endeavour to cater for any specific requests for accommodation, but we cannot confirm requests until we receive all of the gender breakdown lists for visiting groups. Each accommodation area has a specific amount of guests they can accommodate and we will room based on the number of children visiting.
