The Perfect Place to Rest Your Head

After groups tire themselves out with action-packed days learning their craft as a future Robin Hood, Condover Hall offers accommodation designed and furnished based on feedback from schools to ensure they are both comfortable and practical.

Accommodation for students

There are options of multi bedded dorms (4 – 12 beds) for students, with most offering en-suite facilities. Depending on the size of the group it may be possible to take over one or more of the accommodation buildings entirely to guarantee your group stay together.

All accommodation blocks are set within a secluded and secure area, yet still within easy reach of the main centre.

Accommodation for adults

To provide teachers with a respite during their stay, rooms are comfortably furnished with flat screen TVs, tea and coffee making facilities and complimentary bedding. Rooms are a mixture of twins and singles, mostly with en-suite facilities within the same building as the children. Whilst we endeavour to accommodate accompanying adults in these twin rooms, unfortunately we can't guarantee this, especially during peak season.

You’re in safe hands at Condover Hall!

The safety and security of all JCA groups is our number one priority. All who visit on a residential basis are accommodated in purpose-built blocks set within the grounds. A JCA team member is on call 24 hours a day to support groups during their stay. Senior staff members are on duty until 10:30pm each day with porters patrolling between the hours of 10:30pm and 07:30am. Centre doors are secured in the evening, but can be opened in case of emergency and security barriers guard the entrance to the site.

Teacher’s Corner

We understand a trip away is not only a big step for children but for some teachers as leading a residential for the first time can seem equally as daunting. Party Leader Lounges are situated within the accommodation blocks, with the exception of the Hodnet Block. These are comfortably furnished with leather chairs, flat screen TVs, and kitchen facilities, so teachers can relax once the children are in bed.

The Orangery located in the main hall also provides teachers with access to a bar area and provides space to meet other teachers and look ahead to the rest of their JCA adventure.
