Children will be provided with a survival scenario, which will require them to quickly establish priorities. Working as a team, the group will make some important decisions before putting their survival skills theory into practice.

The survival session includes lessons in teamwork as children work together to erect shelters. Each child will learn how to start their own controlled fire in a mess tin and will be taught the importance of fuel, oxygen and heat.
