With over 20 years of experience in organising residential activity trips, we can also complete your Educational Visits form. Having worked with schools for so long, Local Authorities recognise us as an accredited provider of outdoor learning opportunities.
Our Customer Service Team is on hand every step of the way to ensure your booking is a stress-free experience. Providing all the paperwork you need for your senior leadership team to approve your JCA trip, we can also provide advice and guidance on your booking, as well as gentle reminders of what is required and when. Whether this is the first trip you’re organising or you’ve lost count of how many you have led, our JCA team is here to help from start to finish.
We encourage Party Leaders who are not familiar with the JCA experience to book a preview visit to your centre to meet the team, view the premises and surroundings, and ask any questions you may have. This gives Party Leaders a greater insight into what our activity centres provide and how their group will benefit from the trip. It will also enable you to explore the facilities we have on offer for the support staff accompanying your group.
Party Leader facilities
We pride ourselves not only on providing a varied learning experience outside the classroom, but also on ensuring Party Leaders have the facilities they need to make the trip even more enjoyable. We have taken on feedback from Party Leaders to further improve our on-site facilities and provide options for Party Leaders during moments of downtime.
Accommodation for Party Leaders
Comfort is key to providing Party Leaders with somewhere to rest their heads at night and recharge their batteries in preparation for another day of adventure and exploration with their group. Furnished with this in mind, most of our centres have twin en-suite rooms, with some also featuring TVs, plus tea and coffee-making facilities.
Party Leader lounges
Each of our centres offers a Party Leader Lounge ideal to relax and catch up with support staff to discuss the day’s events after-hours or at appropriate points during the day. These are adult-only areas and comprise comfortable lounge chairs, flat-screen TVs and hot drink facilities.
At our centre of excellence, Condover Hall, Party Leader lounges feature additional kitchen facilities available in all accommodation blocks, except for the Hodnet unit. Our Party Leader Retreat at Croft Farm sits within a log cabin with an adjoining veranda and comfortable seating.
Bar area
At most centres, we have an adult-only bar area which can be used in the evenings. This provides a great opportunity to connect and meet Party Leaders from other schools and hear about their experiences on our adventure activities.

Cafe
Cafe areas are also available at a selection of our activity centres, some of which are adult-only areas. Providing a range of hot and cold drinks as well as snacks, our cafes should have everything you need for that extra little burst of energy.

Wi-Fi
We understand the importance of staying connected, especially when schools and groups wish to share their JCA experience with us and their followers on Twitter and Facebook.
Wireless internet access is available at all of our activity centres so you can provide an update on your day. Please ask at reception for more details on arrival, as there may be specific areas within the centre where the connection is available.
Preview visits
Party Leaders can schedule preview visits to any of our JCA activity centres when booking a residential school trip. This can include overnight accommodation, for up to two people if required, at your group’s chosen site.
A preview visit gives you the opportunity to review the site, our accommodation, facilities and activities prior to your stay, as well as the perfect opportunity to see how we manage risk.
