We want every residential at Croft Farm to feel exciting, comfortable and memorable.
Set beside our peaceful 12-acre lake, the accommodation is designed using feedback from visiting schools — practical, warm, and perfect for a watersports-based adventure.

Whether your group is settling in after a big day on the water or relaxing before an evening activity, Croft Farm offers cosy spaces, warm rooms and everything you need for a brilliant stay.

Student accommodation

Our groups stay in heated chalets, set close to the toilet and shower blocks — ideal for schools, clubs and activity groups wanting comfort and convenience.

A favourite with visiting groups are our Scandinavian-style heated log cabins.

Each cabin sleeps up to 8 and includes:

A living room with sofa bed
En-suite facilities
A large veranda (perfect for drying wet kit or muddy boots)

These popular cabins accommodate groups of up to 40.

All accommodation keeps young people warm, safe and comfortable while still embracing the lakeside, outdoorsy atmosphere that makes Croft Farm feel special.

Adult accommodation

We know a residential is a big responsibility for teachers and group leaders — so we ensure adults have a comfortable place to unwind.

Adult rooms include:

Twin beds
Complimentary bedding
Tea and coffee facilities

Party Leaders also have access to exclusive external shower and toilet units located next to the adult rooms.

Site security at Croft Farm

Safety is always our top priority. All JCA residential groups stay in secure, purpose-built blocks within the grounds, each monitored by CCTV.

Key safety measures include:

Clearly marked areas where public guests may visit (not used during school stays)
A JCA team member on call 24/7
Senior staff on duty until 22:30
Night porter monitoring CCTV and patrolling from 22:30–07:30
Main entrance gates locked automatically from 23:30–06:30
Controlled access for anyone needing to enter or leave during these hours
