ABTA, the Association of British Travel Agents, is the UK’s largest travel association. Its members sell around £41 billion of holidays and travel arrangements each year, and the ABTA logo has been a sign of confidence for travellers for more than 75 years.
As an ABTA member, JCA commits to ABTA’s Code of Conduct. It sets clear standards for how we plan, sell and deliver your residential, from accurate information before you book to how we look after your group while you’re away.

ABTOT: financial protection for your residential
ABTOT, the Association of Bonded Travel Organisers Trust, is a government-approved body that has protected travellers’ money since 1993. JCA bookings are ABTOT protected through Travel Class Limited, membership number 5725.
This protection is required by The Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018, and ABTOT is how we meet it. It’s there in the background, so you never need to think about it.
How ABTOT protects your group should your operator financially fail
- If you haven’t travelled yet: you’ll get a refund.
- If you’re already away: where transport is part of your booking, ABTOT makes sure your group gets home.

Our ABTOT financial protection statement
The Association of Bonded Travel Organisers Trust Limited (ABTOT) provides financial protection under The Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 for Travel Class Limited, membership number 5725, and in the event of their insolvency, protection is provided for:
- Accommodation only sales as Principal
ABTOT cover provides for a refund in the event you have not yet travelled or repatriation if transportation was included in your package. Please note that bookings made outside the UK are only protected by ABTOT when purchased directly with Travel Class Limited.
