A family day out with a serious sense of adventure
Short on time? No problem. Family Adventure Day Visits pack the JCA magic into one action-filled session.
Whether you join us for half a day or go all in with a full-day visit, you can expect high-energy activities, expert instructors and loads of encouragement from start to finish.
It is the perfect pick for school holidays, birthday treats, multi-family get-togethers or simply doing something a bit more exciting than another day on the sofa.

All you need to know before you book your adventure
Sessions and times
Half day: 9:30–12:30 or 13:30–16:30
Full day: 9:30–16:30
Lunch break: Full-day visits include a 1-hour lunch break
Arrival: Please arrive 15 minutes before your start time
Prices
Half day: £30 per person
Full day: £55 per person
Lunch for full-day visits: +£5 per person, or bring your own
Payment: Payment on the day

Summer holidays: 21 July – 18 August
*Not available: 14–16 August
Walk-in bookings are not available.
Notice required: pre-booking is essential, a minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required.

Family Adventure Day Visits can only be booked by emailing the Condover Hall team directly and are not available through the enquiry form.

Who can join?
Group size: 6–12 participants
Families per group: Up to 2 families combined
Minimum booking: 5 children and 1 paying adult
Minimum age: 7 years
Under 7s: May be able to attend if they safely fit the equipment
Adults: An adult must stay on site with each group for the full duration
Non-participants: Must be confirmed before arrival

What activities can families try?
This is where the fun gets properly going.
Every Family Adventure Day Visit includes a mix of exciting activities led by our experienced instructors. Depending on the session, families will usually take part in around 3 activities on a half day and up to 6 activities on a full day.
Activities are planned on the day by the team, so families get a great mix of action, challenge and confidence-boosting moments.

Adventure is much more fun when everybody feels looked after.
JCA instructors bring the energy, encouragement and know-how to help families try new things with confidence. From first climbs to higher ropes, every activity is delivered with safety front and centre.

Some activities have weight restrictions, and certain medical conditions may prevent participation. If you are unsure, please get in touch before booking and the team will be happy to help.
