Excite minds, Ignite adventure
Supporting primary schools in being active, our activity days are jam-packed with activities all abilities can access and enjoy. Whether your school is unable to attend a full residential break or are simply looking to experience a JCA adventure for the day, our one day activity programmes provide excellent value for money.
The day will be tailored to the needs of your children with an emphasis placed on breaking down barriers to engagement through a wide choice of outdoor and indoor adventure activities.
We look to bridge adventure with personal development in providing challenges that encourage the development of teamwork, communication, trust, and self-belief. Some activities will see children step up as individuals to develop leadership skills and improve confidence, while others require teams to work together to achieve common goals.
Activities to engage
To maximise the experiences open to your primary school group, our programme can be tailored to include activities that allow for children to explore and learn new skills.
Develop map reading skills in orienteering or learn the art of the foil in fencing. For those seeking an adrenaline-fuelled experience, primary schools can head for the dizzy heights of the high aerial trek or head inside for a tunnelling experience.
End of year rewards
Our activity days are an ideal reward for primary school groups looking to finish the year on a high. Whether it is sending your Key Stage 1 children off to middle school or saying farewell your Year 6 class, a day of outdoor adventure is the perfect way to leave your children with lasting memories.
Our activity days are offered at a choice of locations across the UK. This allows you to choose a site local to you, which will reduce travelling time and costs while increasing time on activities. Please contact the JCA team to learn more about availability and prices.
