At JCA we are focused on providing an environment that is conducive to learning and child friendly but equally teaches young learners to consider their surroundings. This means providing visitors with not only the best facilities, but well trained staff who are qualified to manage activity stations and aid Party Leaders wherever possible.
Our risk assessment processes are externally inspected by The Adventure Activities Licensing Service (AALS) and The British Activity Providers Association (BAPA) to ensure our high standards of safety meet the expected criteria set by the relevant bodies. Where applicable, JCA introduce suitable control measures to address medium and high risk ratings.
JCA is a Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge holder dedicated to providing quality outdoor learning opportunities in a safe and secure environment. We acknowledge the roles of a range of regulatory and advisory bodies and we work to exceed the standards defined by the British Activity Providers Association (BAPA), Adventurous Activities Licensing Service (AALS), Health and Safety Executive (HSE), Department for Education, and a range of sporting national governing bodies specific to the outbound activities we offer.
