Blind-folded, students follow a rope course through trees which leads them over and around obstacles encouraging them to rely on their senses. By working as a team, communication skills and trust are built in the group.During the activity participants use and develop their senses through a series of tasks and games.
Once the group has developed their communication skills they are blindfolded and follow a rope around a set course. By working as a team and taking turns leading, communication skills are developed and improved. Different games will also be introduced to the activity such as Battleships. Students will also be asked to reflect on how loosing a major one of their senses feels and to consider others who have lost some of their senses.
