Adventure course, eco course, survival course or history course. JCA has devised a number of course types, packed full of outdoor activities. Each course aims to develop specific skills and learning outcomes based on curriculum requirements and general personal and social development.
When you decide to travel with JCA you will be able to choose a course type based on your specific requirements and what you would like your students to achieve from their stay.
You may, for example, be more interested in an adventure course programme to push your students to their limits and increase their confidence, or perhaps you would like to enhance their interest in history through experiential learning by supplementing your trip with excursions to local castles and museums. Perhaps you would like to develop your students’ knowledge and awareness of the environment on an eco challenge, or build on their teamwork and communication by booking them onto one of the survival courses.
Whatever your aim, you can be assured we have a course programme to suit your needs. Simply choose your course type and with your input we will develop a timetable to meet your needs.
In the overview of each activity centre you will find a symbol which explains which courses are available at the location.
