Our lakes provide the perfect environment for a safe introduction to canoeing. Paddling on shallow water, young adventure seekers will get to grips with the correct use of the paddle and how to manoeuvre their canoe on the water.

Full safety gear is included as well as equipment specifically sized to the junior market so children can develop their skills as much as possible. Participants will kneel or sit in their open-topped canoe with their single-bladed paddle. Under the guidance of a specialist watersports instructor, they will learn the fundamentals such as stopping, forward and backward paddling and stern rudder.

A specialist watersports instructor will be provided for this activity on a ratio of 1:8 participants.
