Author John Richard Hodges has written a book on what is described as the grandest house in Shropshire, Condover Hall. The Hall itself is best known to locals as a school for the blind, a function it had served from 1948 to 2006. However, this book reveals the history of the Hall right up to the present day ownership of JCA and it's function as an education and activity centre for children.
The book costs £19.99 and further details can be found on the author's website
