This activity introduces students to the concept of fitness and healthy living in a fun context. The instructor will introduce the session and explain about the purpose of aerobic exercise and show each student how to measure and find their own pulse. Each member of the group will initiate their own dance move which other members will practice. The students will then be put into small teams where they will choose a piece of music to put together their own group routine too.
This process will encourage improvisation, and building communication skills. Towards the end of the session each team will perform their routine to the group. Learn your JCA dance in time for the disco!
