Buggy Building

Buggy Building

Buggy Building is a pioneering team-building exercise where teams build a moving 'buggy', using poles and barrels, to withstand a series of gruelling tests. Teams will develop ideas to overcome objectives and utilise skills such as assembly, joining and communication. Whilst Buggy Building is a physical challenge it also encourages problem solving and allows teams to work as a group and take on different roles relevant to real life situations. Students will learn how to tie a reef knot, a round turn and half hitches.

Following from the task to design their own buggies , present their ideas and make their buggy, students will carry out a few tasks including transferring a bucket of water inside their buggy without spilling it. Good luck!
