Our Mill Rythe activity village is packed full of little adventures just waiting to be discovered. From climbing to archery, children can dip into a world that sparks their imagination as they become Spider-Man or Robin Hood.

Set by the Blue Flag beaches of Hayling Island, a ship of sorts will soon be sailing its way to Mill Rythe, only instead of seeking out pirates in the Channel it will remain for our groups to climb, conquer, and cheer with excitement to. Be prepared as we welcome a new high ropes experience to Mill Rythe!

Taking the shape of a pirate ship, the new high ropes course at Mill Rythe activity village will allow groups to take part in a number of challenges. Encouraging children to face any fears of heights, the Jacob’s ladder will see groups support their peers and develop communication as participants negotiate their way to the top. The leap of faith will also provide children with a chance to build their confidence and realise that they can overcome any challenge. The ever-popular crate stack will also add a new dynamic to the activity session on the high ropes course giving groups the perfect platform to develop teamwork skills. Leaders will shine through, but the activity also enables children who do not often seek to take the lead an opportunity to develop this skill.

With inspiration from Mill Rythe’s surrounding the unique design of the high ropes course allows for multiple groups to enjoy the benefits of new activities and provides groups with a new dynamic for their activity trip to our Hayling Island base.

Construction of the new high ropes course is due to start at the end of March 2017 with this year’s groups benefitting from the new activities upon completion. Get set for new experiences at Mill Rythe!
