JCA are pleased to announce their new Weekend Residential Netball Tournaments at Condover Hall.

Working in conjunction with H.C. Tournaments we provide teachers and students with an unforgettable weekend.

Our dedicated team run high-quality residential courses, delivered by highly-qualified, enthusiastic and inspirational staff, ensuring that the sport is played properly and safely - encouraging both interest and talent in a fun environment.

In addition to the tournament itself JCA staff use outdoor activities as a focus to develop qualities and life skills such as teamwork, leadership, motivation, discipline and friendship.

Having an opportunity to relax and refuel are also important when it comes to sporting achievement.  That is why we have accommodation on-site and fully-supervised evening activities including talent shows, discos and camp fires,  allowing free time for teachers to relax after a tough day.

H.C. Tournaments ...who we are

Tournament organisers Dave Hartwell and Joanne Coker are both affiliated to the England Netball Association, with over 35 years between them in netball either as players, coaches or umpires for their local leagues. Both David and Joanne have over 7 years experience in running residential netball tournaments across the South of England.

What we offer

• All games umpired by qualified officials allowing teachers to concentrate on coaching their teams
• All games played using England Netball rules on netball courts built to England Netball specifications
• Access to indoor training facilities including a newly refurbished gymnasium and swimming pool
• Continuous match play for all year groups enabling teachers to see improvements during the weekend

• Match experience against other schools in match play conditions

Our tournament is designed for teams in years 7 to 11 (S1-S5), with age groups having their own round robin style of competition run over two days.

Activities

All daytime activities will be provided on an ad hoc basis. JCA staff who lead the adventure sessions will ensure that all students are encouraged to join in the activities on offer when not playing netball.

Evening Entertainment

A fully-supervised session led by JCA staff, based in the wonderful setting of Condover Hall. Teachers are free to enjoy the facilities the centre has on offer.

Afternoon – Trophy Presentation. Depart after lunch.

*Land-based activities on offer include abseiling, high ropes, archery, fencing, climbing etc.
