Experience of a lifetime
The people who work for JCA have many different motivations driving them, but all have three things in common – energy, enthusiasm and desire to work with children and young people. Working for JCA, you will see a different group of young people grow and develop each week. By the end of the week you will also have noticed differences in yourself. Becoming an instructor is a great stepping-stone into the outdoor leisure industry as JCA offers many development opportunities. It’s also a great way to travel, take a gap year and meet lots of new people and experience a totally different lifestyle. A season with JCA will leave you with skills such as activity leadership, public speaking, organisation and using your initiative. The best thing about the job is that no two days are the same and no two children are the same giving you new challenges and rewards on a daily basis. 

Your Season
Throughout your season with JCA, you will have the opportunity to work at various different centres across the UK, we have some fantastic centres located on Sandy beaches, quiet farms and dense woodlands meaning there is something for everyone. If you are to move centre during your JCA season the transport and costs will be taken care of by JCA all you need to do is pack your bags and start the next part of your adventure! This a fantastic opportunity for you to travel and work around the country at no cost.

Summer Holidays
Some of you may have twigged that schools shut down in the summer holidays, which means that they won’t want to come away during that part of the year! To ensure that our team members get the longest season possible we have therefore, teamed up with various other companies such as family holiday parks or foreign language schools who you will be working with towards the end of your season – this again provides you with more experience and means that you will again visit some fantastic places all in the name of work!

Friendships
The friendships built on centre are some of the strongest you will ever make. You will meet people from many different cultures and backgrounds. JCA staff work very hard to support each other and very hard to deliver the quality experience our customers know and trust. When they are not working you will find that JCA staff choose to spend their time in many different ways, but there is always something going on. After working for JCA you won’t want a 9 to 5 job and won't want to sit behind a desk, you will know how to work hard and play harder.
