Nicki Macfarlane - School Service Manager

 

We will look after your booking from your confirmation date through to your departure to include everything from site visits and kit queries to rebooking and accounts.  We will assist you every step of the way and try to ensure that your booking process is easy and stress free.  We will be in constant contact with you throughout the year and are happy to complete any LA Provider Forms that are required.  The team here are the font of all knowledge on your chosen centre and are in regular contact with your Centre Manager to ensure that you, your students and parents get the most from your trip with us.  We will regularly monitor the feedback that we receive from Party Leaders and students to identify any areas where we can develop or improve the thousands of experiences that we deliver.

 

 

Paul Ballard - Sales & Marketing Manager

 

The JCA Schools Sales advisors pride themselves on becoming experts on all of our centres and courses, this means that they can confidently advise you of what will suit your groups needs.

As part of our induction programme, each member of the team will visit each centre and take part in the activities we offer, giving complete understanding of our instruction methods, site facilities and our high standards of health & safety. Our sales advisors are here to assist you and will help find a residential break that suits your needs and provides your students with the fun learning experience and memories that last them a lifetime. 

 

 

Sarah Spawforth - Operations & Development Manager

 

The Operations team are responsible for the efficient delivery of the activity programmes that are delivered to our groups of customers across our Centres throughout the UK.  We are proud of our reputation for providing thousands of children every year with an unforgettable experience which promotes safety, personal development and of course, fun!

We operate over 60 land & water based activities, to ensure that these are delivered to the high standards that we, our customers & governing bodies demand, we operate one of the longest and most in depth training courses in the industry.  Developing our Centre teams from the outset and throughout the year our staff are constantly monitored, updated & supported by the Operations Team to ensure that high standards of Health & Safety are maintained at our Centres & during all activities.

We continually develop our programmes, introducing new & exciting activities,  reviewing the feedback from our customers, suppliers & Inspecting bodies.  We constantly review & update our operational standards & procedures we ensure that our Centre Teams not only provide an excellent service to our customers but one that is safe, engaging for all participants & in line with our Party Leaders requirements for the groups.

Simon Blench - Apprenticeship Training and Development Manager

 

The JCA management team has enhanced the quality of its Apprenticeship programme by taking full control of the whole process. A new internal assessment team takes responsibility for all aspects of programme delivery. Adding in many specialist areas which include 60 activities and first aid to the formal Apprenticeship frameworks shows just how seriously JCA takes its investment. The apprentices complete the full apprentice package which includes, Key Skills, Employment Rights and Responsibilities, working with disabilities and NVQ level 2 in Activity leadership. Apprentices that fully complete the programmes gain invaluable skills, knowledge and experience that equip them with all they need to secure sustainable careers and future prosperity.

JCA has a long track record of delivering reliable, high quality programmes and is now working with the award winning TUI UK and Ireland Accredited Programmes team to deliver to the very highest standards. The programmes are all certificated by City & Guilds and are supported by the National Employer Service which is part of the Skills Funding Agency. Looking to the future the business has plans to extend the size and range of programmes that we have available over the next 12-months.
